S-TECH LOWERING KIT WP XPLOR

This kit contains all parts to lower a WP XPLOR fork on a KTM EXC, Husqvarna TE or FE and a GasGas EC. The fork travel is shortened using different spring seats. The fork can be shortened by 10, 20 or 30 mm using the spacers supplied.
This is particularly advantageous for smaller riders in enduro use or can be useful for supermoto conversions

Our kit allows you to lower your KTM, Husky or GasGas without the need for time-consuming and difficult spring shortening. The original spring seats are removed and, depending on the desired lowering, our parts from the kit are fitted. The OEM spring can still be used when shortening the fork. A return to the original length is possible at any time without restrictions during a service

The black spacers are mounted on the piston rod to reduce the spring travel, the blue spring seats or spacers are used on the cartridge head to adjust the spring length.

The following constellations are possible:
10 mm: One black spacer each on the piston rod, two blue spacers + spring seat on the cartridge head
20mm: Two black spacers each on the piston rod, one blue spacer + spring seat on the cartridge head
30mm: Three black spacers each on the piston rod, spring seat on the cartridge head

In most cases, shortening the strut is also necessary. Unfortunately, this can only be done by a suspension mechanic as part of a service or adjustment. We also stock the appropriate parts for this. ATTENTION: Reducing the preload at the rear has nothing to do with lowering/shortening!!!
