SPLITSTREAM fuel filter
The SPLITSTREAM fuel filter made of special nylon fabric is designed to protect the injection pumps and nozzles of the motocross injection motorcycles. Some MX motorcycles can have problems with the injection system due to dirt particles. Smallest particles of dust and sand or abrasion can get into the fuel tank and block the injection pump or nozzle. Most fuel injectors have an orifice diameter of only 50-60 microns.

SPLISTREAM filter mesh has a mesh size of only 25 microns, so this filters out the critical particles and prevents clogging of the nozzles.
