In order to use the VHM cylinder head and insert correctly, the piston height is a very important value that must be set. You can use this tool to check whether the crush dimension and volume of your insert are correct and, if necessary, adjust the piston height so that it matches.
This tool is designed for a cylinder capacity of 500cc. There is only an upper part which is used for the actual measurement on the cylinder. For calibration you need a measuring plate, a flat surface is sufficient to calibrate the tool. The dial gauge is available separately
