S-TECH ADAPTER INSERT FOR OPENING FORK CARTRIDGE HEADS
To change the cartridge seals and bushes, the cartridge head must be removed from the cartridge. This requires the appropriate hexagon socket with which the head can be unscrewed from the tube and screwed back on later.
The adapter insert has a hollow bore, which means that the adapter insert can also be used with the piston rod fitted. The adapter insert is pushed over the piston rod so that the cartridge head can also be removed with the piston rod installed.
