S-TECH SEPARATOR PISTON FOR WP XPLOR / PDS / LINK DAMPER - D=50MM
To separate oil and nitrogen in the damper, WP uses a plastic separator piston in their shock absorbers.
The original part from WP uses only an o-ring for sealing in this case from the factory. This can cause the separator piston to tilt in the housing and consequently break.

friction coefficients can also increase which can lead to greater heat generation and poorer response

The S-TECH separator piston have compared to the OEM separator pistons in addition to the O-ring still an oil-lubricated Teflon piston ring. This piston ring guides the separator piston cleanly on the housing running surface and thus prevents any tilting. This ensures a long service life and good response
The separator piston can be installed without significant effort in the course of a service or tuning
Available for KTM and Husqvarna models with housing diameter 50mm
